On February 6th, 2024, Taiwan Province NCC published the fifth amendment to the Technical Specification for Low-power RF Devices (LP0002), which added new requirements on the applicable scope, test items and qualified standards of low-power RF devices with the frequency of 5.945 GHz ~ 6.425 GHz (WIFI 6E). The amendment will take effect on the date of announcement.
In addition, the transition period of the new version of the regulation LP0002(2024) and the old version of the regulation LP0002(2020) is as follows:
Before June 30, 2024, the NCC of WIFI 6E applied to accept the CE EN 303 687 report;
Before December 31, 2024, NCC applied to accept the report of the old version or the new version of the regulations;
From January 1, 2025, NCC will only accept reports of new regulations.
