Recently, the Organization for Standardization of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GSO) issued a notice to update the G-Mark registration platform, and the updated contents will take effect on July 27, 2024, that is, from July 27, 2024, the GCC certification platform will be updated with the following measures, please pay attention to it:
01 Automatically change certificate status:
1、Certificates will be automatically suspended upon certificate expiry date or standards expiry date.
2、Certificates will be automatically terminated 6 months from the certificate expiry date or standards expiry date.
3、An email will be sent with a list of suspended or terminated certificates to the relevant contact emails.
02 Update status of invalidated certificates:
Update Status for Superseded Certificates: Upon certificate renewal, the old (renewed) certificate will be changed to "Superseded" status once the new certificate is published.
03 Monthly email notification:
An email notification will be sent to the relevant contact email, including:
1、Certificates expiring in 3/6/9 months.
2、Certificates whose standards are expiring in 3/6/9 months.
04 public product details:
Public Product Details: When the certificate status is suspended, terminated, or withdrawn, the public product verification page will display the message: "Product does not have an active conformity certificate.".
05 About renewing the certificate:
1、Early Renewal Early renewal shall only be available: 6 months before the expiry date of the certificate.
The validity period of the renewed certificate is 3 years from the original expiration date of the original certificate.
2. Late Renewal 6 Months After the expiry date of the Certificate.
The validity period of the renewed certificate is calculated from the original expiration date of the original certificate, and the expiration date is 3 years MINUS 1 day.
